The Divinity Series – A Prelude

Now that the doors of the Art Dungeon have reopened, let’s step in and delve further into my forgotten corridors of creativity. Let’s rewind the clock and travel back in time, to a place where my artistic expression found inspiration in mythology, spirituality and the timeless stories of the divine. As I moved on, I stumbled upon another hidden treasure tucked away among my canvases, waiting to be rediscovered.

Welcome to The Divinity Series – a collection that celebrates faith, symbolism and sacred traditions. Every painting here is more than an artwork; it is a visual narrative, born out of my deep fascination with the many forms of the Divine, my devotion and my imagination.

This series is inspired by the various Gods and Goddesses in the Hindu pantheon. Every artwork is a detailed and intricate representation of a particular Hindu deity, depicting His or Her attributes and qualities. Various elements from Hindu mythology as well as the scriptures have been incorporated to symbolise and highlight these attributes, thus adding to the overall composition of the artworks.
